Clint Catalyst began his foray as a club host during the "Club Kids" heyday in the San Francisco '90s. He has worked as the "Door Whore", "Guest List Bitch", "Gatekeeper" -- and club host in general -- at all the hottest Bay Area and Los Angeles nightclubs over the last decade, including Club Cherry, Club Make-Up, and Club Bang. Not content to only skip and frolic through clubs dispensing drink tickets like some personified Pez dispenser, he has also been booked as a party "personality" for clients as diverse as Esquire magazine, Indochine restaurant, and HBO.

Some of the unusual feats Catalyst has performed as visual stimulation/party entertainment include: double-dutch jump-roping while dressed in elaborate couture; psychotic "junkie-delic" go-go dancing - wearing a latex blood collar, latex tights with an appliquÈd lace-up syringe crotch and a 10 cc syringe worn as a heart-shaped strap-on, with which he sprayed the crowd of 500 partygoers beneath the cage where he was suspended with a fake blood/Kool Aid concoction; go-go dancing on one occasion in a bra constructed from blow-torches and armature wire; on another occasion wearing a salad-shooter cod piece; and, yet, another in a bra constructed from neon-hued toilet plungers. Other absurd antics? He's also been booked as a "living ventriloquist doll", a latex-clad marionette, and a walking, talking "boom box" (i.e., wearing a large portable old-school radio and roaming around a party as a "separate soundtrack").

However, Catalyst does not always cross the proverbial line into extreme (i.e., inappropriate/"obscene") territory. His machete-sharp wit and colorful sense of personal style have garnished him gigs such as a fashion show emcee for clients Jared Gold, Black Chandelier, Adele Mildred and visual artist/designer Liz McGrath; he was a style panel member/judge for Paper magazine's high fashion wrestling during their opening night party of the 5-day ACME gallery "L.A. Take-Over", and he has even been hired as a fake "red carpet commentator" to heckle partygoers at high-profile events held at Paramount studios, including one of the producer's son's "Sweet Sixteen" parties.

An accomplished author (with two published books beneath his belt), he has been hired as a spoken word performer at venues all around North America, including the Bumbershoot Arts Festival (Seattle), Convergence 9 (Las Vegas), Homotext (NYC), The Dark Arts Festival (Salt Lake City), The Radar Reading Series (San Francisco), Scutterfest (Los Angeles), and the West Hollywood Book Festival (WeHo, CA).

He has appeared as a guest on such television programs as "Beyond Bizarre"
(Discovery Channel), "Sex Bytes" (HBO), "Strange Universe" (UPN/KCOP Los Angeles), "Sound Affects" (VH1), "America's Next Top Model" (UPN), the CBS "Morning Show", and a Weight Watchers success story segment than ran on CNN and American Airlines. On the larger screen, Catalyst has appeared in the W.K. Border film "Sex, Death and Eyeliner", and has a forthcoming role (opposite Guinevere Turner) in a film by Hilary Goldberg.

For diversity, wit and whimsy... Catalyst is the kook you need for your next event!
