Bongo! Bongo! Bongo! You won't want to leave the Congo! Not after our voodoo priestess ensnares you in her Tiger Trap! She's handy with a hex, and you may begin to feel "constricted" by her deft ability with a snake, but fear not: We haven't lost any audience members... yet.

Scarlette Fever has been thrilling Velvet Hammer Burlesque audiences as a featured performer with the troupe since 1999, but you can trace her affiliation back to its beginning in 1995, when she interviewed film auteur Russ Myer for the VH souvenir program.

Trained in the classic Cecetti ballet method, Ms. Fever takes a strong interest in ethnographic dance from around the world, and has studied African, Balinese, Butoh, and Bornean dance - the latter on site in Borneo with the upriver Kayan tribe. These wide-ranging influences may be witnessed in her burlesque performances.

And... where might you have seen this tantalizing temptress? Well... Miss Scarlette Fever-san has tickled them in Tokyo, caused lust in Los Angeles, passion in Paris, scandal in San Francisco, vamped Las Vegas, bombshelled Berlin, looked zaftig in Zurich, and knocked 'em out in New York City - why not invite her to your next party?
