Palomar Agency Talent: Scot-Nery

Scot Nery is a 27 year old juggler and comedian. He has been performing professional solo shows since age 11. Scot's current unusual juggling shows have blossomed out of the dirt of magic, juggling, and numerous other circus arts. This varied background, combined with experience in the streets, rock clubs, amphitheaters, and comedy clubs, has resulted in a uniquely driven and creative performer. Most recently, Scot completed a dynamite 6 month run of Crash Course in San Francisco. Crash Course is his own rambunctious ("Cooking, Juggling, and Getting Hurt") theater cooking show which he created, produced, wrote, promoted and cooked for 24 individual episodes. The Oakland Tribune called it "a comedic success and a culinary disaster!" SF Weekly said it was "Emeril meets Johnny Knoxville!" Scot is currently in Hollywood, expanding the meaning of the word "Juggler." Some people think the name is spelled Scott Nary. They are so wrong.

TRAINING

1987-1994 (9-16yrs. old) trained under professional magician Herb Niland
1998 under the wing of juggler Frank Olivier
2001 learned from Master Lu Yi and other teachers of Chinese Acrobatics at San Francisco School of Circus Arts.
2001 also took Performance Technique classes from former Cirque Du Soleil clown Gypsy Snider at SFSCA
3 years of experience as a nationally touring street performer
