Scotty The Blue Bunny is a 5-year veteran of the NY nightlife scene. He makes his own outfits and is a self-contained variety artist: he sings, spiels, eats fire, performs magic, hosts/emcees, and generally drives the party. He has something to add to any event.

 
Nightlife venue appearances include The Slipper Room, The Gramercy Comedy Club, The Comedy Cellar, Fez under Time Cafe, Bombshell Burlesque, The Red Vixen Burlesque, The Blue Angel, Joe's Pub, SHINE, and most recently an evening of songs and violin with piano accompaniment at the Charlie Cabaret at Marion's Restaurant.

After many one night appearances at NY theaters such as Dixon Place, HERE, and PS 122, PINK ON THE INSIDE, presented by Chashama in Times Square, was his first extended run of a solo show, having run during April and May of 2002, before being produced in Provincetown in July of the same year.

The United States at large is no stranger to the Bunny, especially after 3 consecutive national tours with the Bindelstiff Family Cirkus. He continues to perform outside of NY, mostly at AS220 in Providence, RI where in the summer of 2001 he received a residency grant from the Lila Wallace Reader's Digest Fund. He created a site-specific solo performance, as well as community events during his 3 month stay. He returned there in October of 2002 to performed PINK ON THE INSIDE.

  • Hour-long seated Cabaret show (canned or with live entertainment):

    Scotty The Blue Bunny is Pink on the Inside: queer songs & shtickery for the whole family. An hour long seated cabaret journey into the life and mind of a man dressed like a bunny. Being gay just wasn't enough! (this is a self contained act with backing tracks on CD)

    Scotty The Blue Bunny & Drag on Piano by Lance Cruce. An hour seated or cocktail style show with Scotty on vocals and Lance in a dress accompanying on piano. A true Piano Bar act that relies more on audience interaction. Lance can take most requests, or if you know what we're already playing - JOIN IN! Perfect for hotels/cruises, etc.

  • Fire Eating (yes, we said Fire Eating) Heavy technical requirements and will only be performed under the most favorable conditions and safeguards. The true Coney Island style. Remember, there is no such thing as fake fire.

  • Incredible birthday cake delivery. You buy the cake and the candles and Scotty pops up anytime, anyplace to sing Happy Birthday. It can be done a cappella with a room full of laughing, mocking co-workers, or solo with background tracks. Birthday person also receives a full pack (10) of Polaroids to preserve the magic moment of shock and horror for posterity. Of course Scotty will be giving autographs.
