Walk-Around/Strolling
As a strolling magician, Eric has performed for a wide range of audiences in a wide range of venues including The Supper Club, Caroline's on Broadway, New York's City Center and the Ritz-Carlton, Washington D.C. Eric combines elegantly choreographed sleight-of-hand routines and a polished, but disarming performance style to mystify audiences at even the closest range. Revelers at Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, launch parties, holiday celebrations, wedding receptions and corporate events, are instantly taken in by Eric's wit, humor and prestidigitation skills.

Mentalism
For the uninitiated, Mentalism is essentially clairvoyance for the stage and Eric's 45-minute Mentalism act is nothing short of stunning. With equal parts drama and humor, Eric invokes the subtlest ruses at his disposal to predict the future, divine spectator's thoughts, view objects remotely, and perform feats of mental agility so mystifying that audiences are left spellbound, awe-struck, and totally incredulous. Highlights of the act include an apparently impossible, blind-folded card routine and the rapid, mental calculation of complex mathematical formulae, while actually causing his pulse to fluctuate at a spectator's command.

Colleges
Eric's fondness for scholarship and academia makes the university setting the ideal environment for his distinctive brand of conjuring. College students (particularly those majoring in Philosophy, Comparative Religion or English Literature) are invariably captivated by Eric's charm, mystique and phenomenal talent as a sleight-of-hand artist. It is worth noting that Eric's appeal is not limited to the student body, but resonates equally well with the pedagogy (particularly those teaching Philosophy, Comparative Religion or English Literature).

Trade Shows
Eric has performed magic and sleight-of-hand at trade shows across the country and his singular combination of showmanship, elocution and crowd-management make his presentations the talk of the trade show floor. For companies looking to increase visibility and improve traffic in their booths, Eric seamlessly incorporates marketing messages and product information into entertaining and effective programs that generate leads, create a buzz, and get the word out. Eric's ability to integrate a company's message into a theatrically compelling program is, in the words of one satisfied client, "borderline subversive".

Gambling Demo
Eric's affinity for the gritty underworld of the professional card cheat and the culture of grifting is on full display in this electrifying 45-minute act. Eric takes his audience on a guided tour through the mind of the "crossroader" and explains not only the technical aspects of the card mechanics art, but also the psychology that makes it all work. Eric's signature sophistication and eloquence, combined with his infectious love of the material make this otherwise arcane subject matter not only accessible, but intellectually riveting. The undisputed highlight of this routine is the epic poem and gambling demonstration, "The Ballad of Harry and Jake".

Stage/Nightclub
For those occasions that require an elegant and colorful routine set to music, Eric has developed an impressive 10-minute vignette, in which he plucks coins from thin air, produces silk scarves from the ether, causes cigarettes to vanish and multiply at his fingertips, makes a lit candle de-materialize, causes stainless steel rings to penetrate each other, swallows razor-blades, and pulls an eight-foot length of rope through his torso. This is Eric's most visual, meticulously choreographed routine and it plays equally well in a parlor or stage setting. It is a wonderful ballet of drama, poise and impossibility.

Escapism
What began as a purely academic interest in the subject quickly evolved into a full-blown routine; complete, of course, with a spell-binding narrative. Eric performs two separate escapes: the first is from five different forms of restraining apparatus, including police-regulation handcuffs and leg-irons, undertaken in full view of the audience at all times. The second is appreciably more graphic. It's a spectacular escape from a regulation straitjacket, which also takes place in full view of the audience. Both routines play big and dovetail nicely with any marketing message that deals with security (IT or otherwise) or the plight of the criminally insane.

Illusion
Each of Eric's stage illusions is designed and crafted exclusively by Japanese-American designer and craftswoman, Miyake Seo. Eric and Miyake's collaboration began in 2001 and has yielded several exquisite and beautifully deceptive illusions, each distinguished from the conventional illusionist fare by Miyake's contemporary Japanese influence and unerring eye for detail and Eric's vibrant sense of showmanship and theatricality. Be it the need to cause a CEO to materialize from an empty box, or to transform a sample of a company's latest product into a live dove, Eric and Miyake work in close conjunction to satisfy the many technical, theatrical and aesthetic issues that arise--always with the clients marketing message and bodily comfort in mind.

Magic Consultant
Eric has served as a magic consultant for numerous theatrical productions in New York City, working closely with directors such as Kevin Kittle, Andy Arden, Brian Lehy Doyle and David Milch. An accomplished actor himself, Eric has special insight into the many needs and wants of today's theater professionals and tailors each routine he orchestrates to the director's vision of the play, the actor's level of technical proficiency, and the practical demands and limitations of the venue.
